Almond Filled Puff Pastries

Almond Filled Puff Pastries are similar to Almond Filled Croissants - however they differ slightly. The puff pastry flavor is a little different than a croissant, both are airy & flaky, but croissant dough is make with yeast, and puff pastry dough isn't. These Puff Pastries are make with my homemade puff pastry dough, and filled with my homemade almond filling - which is similar to almond paste, but the filling is more of a spread, so it's moist when added to pastries. The flavor is amazingly delicious. These pastries vary in size - they range from 2 inches wide to 3 1/2 inches wide and 3 1/2 inches long to 5 inches long - basically they all start out the same size but when placed in the oven they each puff differently. You can order 6 or 12, no toppings, or topped with your choice of powdered sugar or vanilla icing.
