Cannoli Biscotti

Biscotti are "twice baked" cookies - literally they are twice baked. What does this mean? Basically after mixing the ingredients for this biscotti, it is shaped into long loaves, then baked until they are set, then allowed to cool slightly, sliced into individual cookies, and baked a second time so they become dried & crunchy to perfection. These cookies are wonderful for dunking, sharing, enjoying as a snack, dessert (try dunking in soft ice cream, it's delicious!). Perfect with a cup of cappuccino, milk, coffee, hot cocoa, even tea!

These biscotti combines the wonderful flavors of the Sicilian Cannoli pastry into a delicious crunchy cookie.

Each order weighs between 1 1/2 - 2lbs, and there's roughly 18- 24 cookies (if you prefer them sliced thicker, there will be less than 24). You can opt for with or without chopped pistachios baked in. Topping options: dark chocolate ganache drizzled over each cookie, confectioners sugar, dark chocolate espresso ganache or no topping.
