Cardamom Sugar Cookies *Chewy, Buttery & Crunchy* Home Baked Decorated Sugar Cookies

Personally I believe Cardamom is a very underrated seasoning.  And if you never tried it - here's the perfect time.  It's absolutely wonderful in these cookies.  The original recipe for the cookies didn't exactly work for me -  so I incorporated the cardamom into my own personal cookie recipe and what I got was perfect!    

Cardamom is an aromatic spice made from the seeds of several plants (often known as The Grains of Paradise) native to India and Indonesia.   It can be used in sweet or savory dishes. And as you can see from these cookies, it's wonderful to bake with as well.    In these cookies, the flavor is mild and has a wonderful aroma.  I also add a dash of nutmeg into the dough.    

The cookies are star shaped (about 2- 2 1/2 inches each), the glaze is a light vanilla glaze.  You can order with or without the glaze, and with or without sprinkle decorations.

Ingredients: flour, sugar, organic eggs, organic butter, organic cardamom, organic nutmeg, salt, baking powder, organic vanilla extract, organic milk (in glaze only), optional sugar Sprinkle.
