Any Czech knows, Christmas just wouldn't be complete without these cookies! These are a wonderful crescent shaped cookie made with ground toasted almonds, butter and lightly sweetened - and topped with powdered sugar. They have a wonderful buttery nut flavor and not overly sweet. They are so good you cannot eat just one!

I do make these a bit larger than the traditional Czech cookie - mine are 3 inches long by 2 inches wide.
