Czech Cookie Quartet * Variety Pack of Kolache, Rugelach, Dulkove Kolachy & Czech Almond Crescent Cookies Cookies *

Whether your Czech or not, you likely grew up with many of the delicious cookies.

This cookie quartet includes 4 dozen Czech Style Cookies.

The first is Kolache Cookies - which are cookie make up of an unsweetened flaky cookie dough and filled with fruit, nuts, Nutella or cheese. The filling is all the sweetness this wonderful cookie needs.  Most common & traditional fillings for these cookies are Apricot, Raspberry, Prune and Walnut.

Also included is Czech Dulkove Kolacky Cookies, these cookies are a round, sweetened cookie with a very light lemon aroma and filled with fruit, nuts, cheese, or chocolate. The most common/traditional fillings for these cookies is Strawberry, Apricot and Cheese.

Another very traditional cookie included is Czech Almond Crescent Cookies, a very simple Czech cookie made with toasted & ground almonds, butter and mildly sweetened, shaped like crescent moons.  These are very simple, but very delicious.

And finally Rugelach - another Czech Christmas Cookie. These cookies, like Kolache, are made from an unsweetened flaky style dough, the cookies are filled with nuts, fruit, poppy seed or chocolate, then rolled up and baked just a tad longer than Kolache. For these the most common and traditional fillings would be apricot, raspberry, and nuts (finely chopped walnuts with cinnamon and sugar).

For each type of cookie, you get 1 dozen cookies. Choose up to 3 different fillings per cookie or if you prefer I can chose for you, sending you a surprise variety of fillings.  If you want to choose your own fillings, please send me a message/email when you place your order.

Filling options include:
Kolache: apple, apricot, blueberry, blackberry, cheese, cherry, fig, lemon, Nutella, orange, peach, poppy seed, prune, raspberry, red plum, strawberry, or walnut

Dulkove Kolachy: apricot, blueberry, blackberry, boysenberry, cheese, chocolate fudge, lemon, Nutella, peach, pineapple, strawberry or walnut.

Rugelach: apricot, chocolate fudge, Nutella, poppy , or traditional filling.

Note:
**Cheese filling for Kolache and Dulkove Kolache is made from Cream Cheese, Sugar, a pinch of lemon zest, a pinch of cinnamon and a pinch of nutmeg. The flavor is absolutely amazing!

**Walnut Filling for Kolache & Dulkove Kolache is made from finely ground walnuts, brown sugar, cinnamon, butter, and a hint of vanilla essence.

**Traditional Filling for Rugelach is finely ground walnuts, cinnamon and sugar.

**Poppy Seed Filling is organic poppy seeds, date sugar, honey, & corn syrup

* Cookies are packed in packs of two in cellophane bags, and separated from the other kinds of cookies that way the flavors don't end up blending together. *
