Linzer is a traditional Austrian dough. Often used for Tortes, Cookies & Pies. The unique flavor of the Linzer dough comes from a small amount of ground almonds (or almond flour) and a hint of cinnamon. The flavor is absolutely delicious. Linzer cookies are traditionally filled with a raspberry jam - but they are also delicious filled with homemade vanilla cream or homemade chocolate fudge. And topped with a dusting of confectioners sugar to make them extra pretty.
Each order contains choice of 6 or 12 large cookies - each sandwich cookie is about 3 inches long by 2 inches wide heart shaped. If you prefer circular shaped cookies, please let me know when you place your order, otherwise they will be heart shaped. Each cookie is wrapped individually & placed in a cookie box. If there's a filling you want that isn't listed, please send me a message!
