Homemade Irish Soda Bread

Irish Soda Bread isn't just for St. Patrick's Day - it's great for any occasion. I love serving it with a good hearty stew, it also is a great accompaniment with scrambled eggs & bacon, midday snack and so on. My kids love it served warm with a little unsalted butter spread on it.

You can order it plain, with raisins, dried cranberries or dried currants - anyway you choose, its really good. You can order a 2 pound loaf, two 1 pound loaves or a single loaf of the Irish Soda Bread. (total weight of loaves is actually a bit higher than the 2 pound and 1 pound listings).

Ingredients: flour, sugar, organic eggs, organic butter, salt, baking soda, baking powder, organic buttermilk.  May contain raisins, dried cranberries, zante currents and/or bacon.
