Italian Sprinkle Cookies, sometimes known as the Italian Wedding Cookie are a delicious soft cookie with the combined flavors of Almond and Lemon that is dipped in an icing flavored with Almond & Vanilla and then topped with just enough colorful sprinkles to make them pretty. While many people make these with shortening, I make them with butter. The flavor and consistency of butter is far superior than oily poorly flavored shortening (butter is also far better for your health than shortening). These cookies are especially popular for Christmas celebrations.
You get a choice of 1, 2 or 3 dozen per order. Sprinkle colors will either be rainbow or red/white/green - if you want a different color of sprinkles, please contact when placing order.
