These pepperoni & provolone pinwheels are delicious! They make a great snack or appetizer/hors d'oeuvres. I make these to serve at parties. They are loved by kids and adults alike. They are made with my homemade puff pastry dough, butter, Boars Head Pepperoni and Boars Head Provolone Cheese . They are flaky and cheesy and meaty with a little kick of spice from the pepperoni.
You can order them by the dozen or 2 dozen. If you prefer, you can get these with Mozzarella Cheese (also Boars Head brand - so you know you are getting the best) instead of the Provolone or Genoa Salami instead of Pepperoni. BTW, these aren't tiny like most other pinwheels, they are three inches in diameter, sometimes a little over, so you are getting a good sized treat!
To reheat them, you can microwave for 20-30 seconds on a microwave safe dish or throw them in an oven preheated at 325 for 10 minutes or until warm and cheese is melty. Store in the refrigerator, or can be frozen in a zip lock bag.
