Margherita Pizza Focaccia

Focaccia bread is an Italian Flat Bread originating from Genoa, Italy.   There's many variations & toppings for this bread.  This particular Focaccia bread is prepare similar to a Margherita Pizza, after preparing the dough, it's brushed gently with Sicilian Olive Oil and gently sprinkled with Fine Sicilian Sea Salt, then brushed lightly with my homemade tomato basil sauce, topped with Campari tomatoes & fresh mozzarella then baked until lightly browned & mildly crisp.    You can enjoy the focaccia at room temperature or you can warm for a few seconds in the microwave or for about 10 minutes in a 275 (F) degree oven.  It's great on it's own as a snack, or you can serve it with a meal in place of your regular favorite Italian Bread or even as an appetizer.  Focaccia comes in your choice of 9 inch round or 9x9 inch square.  Depending upon how you slice it, you can get anywhere from 9-16 servings.  

Ingredients:  flour, semolina flour imported from Italy, extra virgin olive oil (I only use Partanna or Frantoia imported from Sicily), organic yeast, sugar, Sicilian Sea Salt, organic tomatoes, organic basil, organic garlic (in the sauce), organic black pepper, fresh mozzarella, organic Campari tomatoes.
