If you love old fashioned style sweets, you are in for a treat with these Old Fashioned Date Bars. Old World Goodness, just like Grandma used to make! These date bars are made with organic chopped dates, brown sugar, organic oats, walnuts and butter. And if you want, you can also get a cup of my homemade cream cheese frosting to top your bars with! You can order these sliced or unsliced - your choice - just let me know in the personalization area your preference. Baked in a 9x9 inch pan, they ship in the pan they are baked in, wrapped in plastic & in a windowed cake box. The optional cup of cream cheese frosting comes on the side in a reusable plastic container. The frosting should be refrigerated once you receive it and any frosted bars should be refrigerated. You can store extra bars in freezer in either a freezer safe bag or freezer safe air tight container for 3-4 months (longer than that they may cause them to lose flavor).
