Pizzelle are a traditional Italian waffle cookie made with simple ingredients including flour, sugar, eggs, butter and a bit of flavoring. If you never tried a pizzelle before, they are a thin, crisp cookie, flavor is similar to that of a sugar cone. Flavors added depend upon your own personal taste - options include vanilla, amaretto, anise, lemon, vanilla amaretto mix or vanilla anise mix - or if you have a flavor combination you prefer that isn't listed, just let me know and I will be happy to make it for you. Made with mostly organic ingredients, so you know you are getting the highest possible quality plus that delicious flavor!

You can chose your favorite flavor for these as well - orders come in 1/2 dozen, dozen or 2 dozen cookie - cookies are wrapped in cellophane baggies, 2 to a baggy - this helps keep them safe during transit & is convenient if you want to pack the cookies for a lunch time treat! To store pizzelle, please keep in cellophane bag or in aluminum cookie tins (do not store in plastic containers or zip locks - this still cause pizzelle to lose crisp texture). As long as you store them properly, shelf life is 2-4 weeks before they become stale.
