Taralli Dolci Cookies * Sweet Taralli * Easter Taralli

You may think of a crisp savory pretzel like Italian Cracker when you think of taralli,  However, Taralli Dolci is a sweet version, mildly crisp outside, but soft inside.  Like it's savory cousin, these are ring shaped.  These cookies also aren't boiled, just baked until they reach a nice crisp consistency outside.  Topped with a vanilla icing and sprinkles or nonpareils, make them both delicious and festive.  Often served for Easter Dessert, but can be enjoyed anytime.    

Ingredients: organic butter, sugar, flour, organic eggs, baking powder, salt, organic vanilla extract.  Frosting is made with sugar, organic milk & organic vanilla extract and topped with pastel colored sprinkles, nonpareils or sugar crystals.
