Vanilla Cream Filled Pizzelle Cookies + Italian Pizzelle filled with Vanilla Cream - Cannoli Style Pizzelle w/Vanilla Cream

Pizzelle are a traditional Italian waffle cookie made with simple ingredients including flour, sugar, eggs, butter and a bit of flavoring. If you never tried a pizzelle before, they are a thin, crisp cookie, flavor is similar to that of a sugar cone. 

These Pizzelle are shaped into almost a cylinder and then filled with my homemade Vanilla Cream filling - it's like Cannoli meets Vanilla Sandwich Cookie meets Sugar Cone (or something like that) Made with mostly organic ingredients, so you know you are getting the highest possible quality plus that delicious flavor!

You can chose your favorite flavor for these as well - orders come in 1/2 dozen, dozen or 2 dozen cookie - cookies are wrapped in cellophane baggies, 2 to a baggy - this helps keep them safe during transit & is convenient if you want to pack the cookies for a lunch time treat! To store pizzelle, please keep in cellophane bag or in aluminum cookie tins (do not store in plastic containers or zip locks - this still cause pizzelle to lose crisp texture). As long as you store them properly, shelf life is 2-4 weeks before they become stale.

Ingredients: flour, organic butter, organic eggs, sugar, organic eggs, baking powder, organic vanilla extract.  Chocolate Cream filling contains Dutch process cocoa.
